Rainfall Acquisition Offer

ATMOSPHERICA's winter-cropping clients have enjoyed good On-Target rainfall during 2024, and their Spring Rains are now due.

In addition to continuing to target the Wimmera group, we've decided to open our Spring Rain Acquisition Offer to all farmers across South Eastern Australia. 

1. Offer Overview

ATMOSPHERICA offers a one-time, guaranteed, targeted rainfall service:

    • Rainfall Objective: 20-50mm.
    • Eligible Regions: Western Victoria, Eastern South Australia, Southern NSW.
    • Engage before 30 September 2024 to be included in our Primary Target.
    • Service Time Frame: Minimum time required is 10 days, maximum permissible (within this agreement) for commencement of a soaking rain event is 30 days from 14 September 2024.
    • Property Coverage: We assume a maximum radius of 10 km from your provided property location. Please contact us regarding any variation, via: discovery@milesresearch.org

2. Fee & Payment

A one-time $3,856 AUD (ex. GST) fee applies for the service, covering an assumed farming area within 10km radius of your farm location. The fee is based on Australia’s minimum wage for a farm worker, (40hr/w) for four weeks.

Engagement and Payment Deadline: 30 September 2024 - as we 'shape' an early October event.

3. Guarantee

ATMOSPHERICA guarantees a minimum of 20mm of rainfall over your property. If we fail to meet this target, we will refund 100% of your fee. If 20mm or more is achieved, the agreement is fulfilled, and no refund will be issued.

4. Measurement of Rainfall

Rainfall will be measured via assimilation of official data, from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). Official rainfall reporting can be accessed via this link, and via URL: http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/maps/rainfall 

5. Conditions for Engagement

To engage in this offer, you must:

  1. Accept the Agreement by clicking the ACCEPT AND PROCEED button.
  2. Then provide your property location in the Farm Address on the payment form, we assume an approximate radius (of up to 10km). For larger enterprises - please contact us via: discovery@milesresearch.org
  3. Pay the one-time fee of $3,856 AUD (ex. GST). Engagement must occur by 30 September 2024 to be included in our Spring Rain Primary Target.
