Rainfall Acquisition TOP-UP Offer

The Spring Rain 2024 delivered good general rainfall across multiple Australian targets in three states.

Farmers are now pursuing an extra 'top-up rain' event (minimum 10 mm), before harvest.

ATMOSPHERICA has agreed to offer the same arrangement to any farming enterprise within SE Australia.

1. Offer Overview

ATMOSPHERICA offers a guaranteed TOP-UP Rain Event in accordance with the parameters:

    • Rainfall Objective: 10-20mm.
    • Eligible Regions: Western Victoria, Eastern South Australia, Southern NSW.
    • Engage before 28 October 2024 to be included in our TOP-UP Primary Target.
    • Service Time Frame: Minimum time required is 10 days, maximum permissible (within this agreement) for commencement of a soaking rain event is 20 days from 28 October 2024.
    • Property Coverage: We assume a maximum radius of 10 km from your provided property location. Please contact us regarding any variation, via: discovery@milesresearch.org

2. Fee & Payment

A one-time $1,000 AUD (+ GST) fee applies for the service, covering an assumed farming area within 10km radius of your farm location.
Engagement and Payment Deadline: 28 October 2024.

3. Guarantee

ATMOSPHERICA guarantees a minimum of 10mm of rainfall over your property. If we fail to meet this target, we will refund 100% of your fee. If 10mm or more is achieved, the agreement is fulfilled, and no refund will be issued.

4. Measurement of Rainfall

Rainfall will be measured via assimilation of official data, from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). Official rainfall reporting can be accessed via this link, and via URL: http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/maps/rainfall 

5. Conditions for Engagement

To engage in this offer, you must:

  1. Accept the Agreement by clicking the ACCEPT AND PROCEED button.
  2. Then provide your property location in the Farm Address on the payment form, we assume an approximate radius (of up to 10km). For larger enterprises - please contact us via: discovery@milesresearch.org
  3. Pay the one-time fee of $1,100 AUD (incl. GST).
    Engagement must occur by 28 October 2024 to be included in our Rain TOP-UP Event Target.
